Model 2596 Axial Lead Component Sequencer
[ View Photograph | Configure Your Own | Brochure (pdf) | Available Sequencers]
The Model 2596 sequences axial lead components, including jumper wires, at rates up to 25,000 components per hour. This modular system uses rotary dispensing heads, a sensor for detecting missing components, a component centering assembly and a component taping assembly to process up to 200 discrete component values. The 2596 Axial Lead Component Sequencer is expandable from 20 to 200 stations in 20-station increments. An optional on-line component sequence verifier is available.

Model 2862B Expanded Range Verifier
Universal’s Expanded Range Verifier provides in-process verification of axial lead components. It mounts on the Model 2596 Axial Lead Component Sequencer between the sensing and taping stations, and verifies sequenced components prior to lead taping. The verifier detects missing, out-of-sequence, faulty or misoriented components and stops the machine to allow for component replacement. The unit verifies up to 22,500 components per hour.
