to 5+ upgrade Info]
The Radial Sequencer/Inserter inserts radially-taped standard and odd form components with
body diameters up to 13mm and lead spans of 2.5/5mm at speeds from 11,000 CPH to 16,000
CPH.FEATURES:
Control Panel
Includes push-button controls and indicators for easy operation.
Component Sequencer Module
Each 20-station module stores and dispenses components in sequence.
20, 40, 60, 80, or 100 component input stations are available in straight-back
configuration.
Component Dispensing Station
Low part sensors provide audible and visual alarms to alert operators when components near
depletion, allowing time for component splicing.
A missing component sensor inspects component carrier tape and automatically refires if
a part is missing.
Sequencer Chain Assembly
A continuous chain of carrier clips receives components from the dispensing stations and
transports them to the insertion head.
Missing Part Detector
Before insertion, an optical sensor checks for components on each carrier clip, signaling
the operator if a clip is empty.
Insertion Head
Components are inserted at 0°, or rotated to +90° or -90° under pattern program control
for high density insertion and polarity, without reducing throughput.
Board Error Correction
A light source and sensor inspect user-defined PCB holes and automatically compensate for
variations.
A bad board sensing feature pre-inspects boards, bypassing rejected board segments in
breakaway board panels.
Positioning System
This closed-loop system accurately locates and positions the PCB during insertion.
Rotary Table
Indexes clockwise in 90° increments from 0° to 360°, providing four-position insertion
in combination with the rotating insertion head.
Clinch
Rotates with the insertion head, trims the inserted components leads, and forms and
secures them to the underside of the board.
Auto Recovery
Provides automatic replacement of mis-inserted or missing components.
When used with the Expanded Range Verifier, verifies components before insertion,
eliminating errors caused by wrong value or incorrect polarity with recently replenished
components.
