Universal Instruments Remanufactured Machine Div.* is now re-manufacturing GSM Upward Looking Cameras. Each camera will be thoroughly examined by Universal Instruments Remanufactured Machine Div. technicians, re-manufactured and tested to meet new camera slug test specifications. All cameras are returned to the customer with a 1-year warranty.

The following process is performed on each camera:

• Each camera is thoroughly examined by a Broome Engineering technician
• A new internal camera is installed in every unit
• All printed circuit boards & illumination boards are upgraded
• All visible bad parts are replaced
• The camera is focused, programmed and initial setup is performed
• Any additional parts that failed the initial test are replaced
• A 2 ½ hour warm-up is done on each camera before installation on our GSM test machine to ensure proper optical alignment
• The camera is installed and calibrated on our GSM test machine
• A hot slug run is preformed
• The slug placement is verified by Quality Engineering on our precision Coordinate Measuring Machine
• All verification data is printed and packed with the camera
