Remanufactured Machine Limited Warranty

The Remanufactured Machine Division of Universal Instruments extends to our customers a limited warranty on all remanufactured machines. The warranty period begins from the date of installation, covers the original purchaser, and protects against failure, breakage, and manufacturing defects. The actual duration of warranty may vary by machine type and technology.

This warranty does not cover wearable parts or consumables that have worn due to normal use. Electronic parts will be accepted for warranty replacement only in those cases where Universal is able to determine that the cause for failure was due to a manufacturing defect.

To return defective parts for exchange under the warranty program, simply contact your Customer Account Administrator located in the Universal Worldwide Parts Distribution Center for a return authorization (RA) number. You will be asked to supply your original purchase order number and Universal's invoice number. In order to assure prompt exchange service, we cannot accept any returned parts without this RA number.
