Be Aware of...
... non-OEM parts being used by other vendors in the rebuild of Universal machines.
These parts can drastically reduce the life, performance, and safety of the machines and
disqualify the machine from being eligible for support by Universal Instruments.
... any machine that the vendor claims to be a Universal machine. It could in fact be a
mix match of many different machines, which would permanently disqualify the machine for
Universal Instruments support
... vendors that require up-front payments prior to you receiving the machine. This is
typically done by vendors that are not sure you will ever pay for the machine once you see
it or try to use it.
... vendors that remark that Universal's remanufacture of equipment is overkill. The
level of remanufacture done by Universal reflects over 20 years of Remanufacturing
experience which has taught us what a customers needs and expectations are from a
piece of remanufactured equipment and has made us the number one leader in remanufacturd
equipment. Ask yourself if you can afford to be down while waiting for someone to come fix
the machine. Although no one can eliminate all risk, Universal Remanufactured Machine
Division tries to minimize it as much as possible for our customers through this level of
remanufacture and has a world wide support infrastructure to respond within hours, not
days if it does..
